Vågå county and Abilia attended the World Conference Microsoft Worldwide Goverment Solution Forum 2012 in London, with approx. 250 participants from several countries.
Abilia Senior concept was presented, and the solution is now installed in two nursing homes in Vågå county.
The solution, which enables the elderly to live at home longer, caught great interest. Stefan Sjöström, head of the public sector in Western Europe (Microsoft), refirerade especially to Vågå and Abilia in his closing lecture.
The big surprise came in the bile dinner in the evening. Vågå and Abilia was awarded the prize by Microsoft for the solution and the work we do for the following reasons:
"In recognition of outstanding contribution to the quality of life through support for assisted living with Memoplanner."
